Job Description

As a Software Engineer, Associate at MicroStrategy, you will be part of an agile & vibrant software development team that goes all in to provide our customers with the most powerful, scalable, and user-friendly platforms for analytics, mobility, and actionable intelligence. You will play a key role in enabling MicroStrategy products to be best-in-breed and optimized to leverage the latest advancements in AI, ML, Cloud, Containerization & Web/Mobile technologies.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, and/or C++.
• Familiarity or experience with Containerization Infrastructures like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies (i.e., data structures, algorithms, unit testing, secure programming, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity or experience in AI and ML areas like LLMs, Prompt Engineering, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, LangChain.
• Familiarity or experience with Cloud Infrastructures like AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Experience in one or more of following areas: React, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Swift, Kotlin, Spring Framework, RESTful API, and/or database concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
