I’ve been asked ‘what can you even do with an English degree?’ more times than I can count. Translation? Teaching? Admin? This post hit different. AIMA isn’t looking for someone who just ‘speaks English’ – they want someone who can negotiate with clients, push projects forward, and actually get things done in overseas markets. That’s not a ‘language major’s job.’ That’s a real job. And for the first time, I feel like my degree isn’t a disadvantage. It’s just the starting line
