岗位职责：
The Role:
As a Drive Unit Systems Intern, you will be a member of design propulsion motor/gearbox/DU from concept to volume production. Come join the team working on the most important motors in the world.

Responsibilities:
· Involve in drive system commodities launch at Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai and troubleshoot complex issues together with global team;
· Design of motor/gearbox/DU component test fixtures;
· Design of Experiments for motor/gearbox/DU component feature or dimension and running them;
· Compile test data, impact to design and recommend following steps;
· Build of physical DU/motor/gearbox prototype;
· Analysis of production supplier or manufacturing line data/report, involve in suppliers (both internal and external) development for overall drive unit system, provide engineering support with global team;
· Test samples build for both local and global team, field work support;


岗位要求：


Requirements:

· Major in Mechanical Engineering, Material field or Automotive engineering;

· Industry experience working in automotive, transmission, gearbox or motor;

· Proficiency in 3D&2D modeling and data analyses software, CATIA V5 and MATLAB preferred, python is a plus;

· Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanics of materials and the ability to think out of the box;

· Knowledge in engineering tools including GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, etc.

· Knowledge in quality control tools including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, etc.

· Experience with vehicle and component level testing and willing to get hands dirty to resolve engineering issues;

· knowledge of casting, gear, bearing, stamping, welding, injection molding and manufacturing processes/tooling;

· Fluent in the English and Mandarin.
