We are looking for an Associate who is passionate in our sale role: Associate Inside Sales Representative The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for selling the companys products and services via telephone. A typical day involves speaking with customers and partners that are considering purchasing VMware products. You will be responding to inbound and outbound calls. The ISR is held accountable to closing sales and placing orders typically generated by national advertising and/or referrals and your own expert pipeline building. You will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience via our sales model, while maximizing revenue and margin generation.

Associate Consultant The Associate Consultant will work with our highly talented and experienced VMware Professional Services Team to deliver creative solutions to our customers to help unlock the benefits of our VMware products. In this role, you will use your technical, consultative, communication, and leadership skills to support the successful implementation of VMware software solutions (Cloud, Mobility, Network/Security) in a variety of industry verticals and customer environments. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the client and other team members on the day-to-day tasks involved with the solution delivery, including, but not limited to: planning, customer assessments, system configuration, testing, training, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities: The Associate Client Solutions Executive is primarily responsible for identifying, developing and closing Consulting, Education and TAM services business through the following activities. Your exciting scope: Work in collaboration with the Accounts, Advisory, Solutions Architecture, Services Delivery and Proposal Desk teams to develop proposals, align opportunities with account planning, and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers Gather customers’ business and IT requirements and understand their goals, objectives, strategies, decision-making and procurement processes Position VMware products and services’ ability to meet customers’ technology and business outcomes Understand sales strategies and develop services proposals that are align to these strategies Develop value-based propositions, craft and sell solutions mapped to customer’s business outcomes Deliver a positive customer experience via our sales model, while maximizing revenue and margin generation Planning and forecasting: Develop and accelerate pipeline of opportunities to closure Maintain a healthy pipeline to ensure appropriate velocity and coverage to meet quarterly targets for bookings and contract execution Prepare for regular pipeline reviews to ensure you can clearly articulate the health and quality of pipelines, learnings from wins and losses, and escalations for support to improve win rate

The position is based in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Regional Senior Manager of Education, this position is responsible for advising customers on their education requirements, developing sales opportunities, growing education bookings, and working with the field sales teams to drive education attachment and closing business for VMware training business across Hong Kong region. The key responsibilities for the position include: • Meeting and exceeding bookings and revenue targets by developing market strategies and relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Develops close working relationships with the sales of license, professional service and business unit to develop joint account plans and learning plans for enterprise customers • Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis. • Work with marketing team to develop education and certification campaigns • Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. • Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent • Coursework (in some) of the following: Algorithms, Data Structures, Storage andor Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Machine Learning, Compilers, Networking, Distributed Systems, Analytics, Web Development • Knowledge in one or more of the programming languages: C, C++, Java, or Go programming • Knowledge in Python, Perl, shell, or other scripting languages • Knowledge in Flex, HCI, wireframes, mockups • Knowledge in CSS, HTML, XML, Flash, JavaScript • School and/or industry projects involving significant design and development

Requirements: •2020 and 2021 grads pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Legal, Economy Management or relevant field of study. •0-12 months of experience within any of the following areas: Sourcing, Procurement, Buyer, Pricing, Sales Operations, Data Science, etc. •Ability to multitask and navigate through ambiguity under pressure •Strong interpersonal skills, incl. good communication with the ability to articulate ideas in a precise and concise manner •Sensitivity of data, strong data analysis skillset •Motivated self-learner with the passion and follow through to acquire new skills •High level of accountability and integrity •Detail-oriented •Work well in a global virtual environment that is fast-paced and constantly changing
