Application & Integration Architect

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• This role involves defining integration strategies, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring that integration solutions align with the organization's enterprise architecture and business objectives. The Application Integration Architect works closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and IT operations to deliver robust and scalable integration solutions.

Key tasks:

• Integration Strategy and Design - Define and maintain the organization's application integration strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Integration Implementation and Governance - Guide development teams in the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting - Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• Technology Evaluation and Selection - Research and evaluate integration technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their suitability for the organization.
• Security and Compliance - Ensure integration solutions comply with security policies, privacy regulations, and industry standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Documentation and Communication - Maintain and communicate comprehensive integration architecture documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and guidelines.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Application Integration Architect, Integration Engineer, or similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment. Strong background in integration technologies.
• - Proficiency in designing and implementing integration solutions using APIs, web services, and messaging protocols.
• - Expertise in cloud-based integration platforms.
• - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
• - Strong knowledge of security and compliance requirements for integration solutions.
• - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
