Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility:
- The Position Holder (PH) is in charge as the Service Manager to provide following services to Region China by defining concepts, managing and coordinating external teams and other VGC companies to propose and develop solutions, assessing delivery and training of external engineers: M365 Document Products Management (Share Point and Channels), CSD solution and Governance Engine.
Key tasks:
- Assure availability and stability of the in-scope services, keep monitoring the technical service quality through delivery assessment.
- Optimization and automation of the in-scope services, that covers the whole life cycle of the service to assure the service continuity.
- Manage incident, service request, change, release, problem of the in-scope services.
- Technical supervision and management, initiate new technical solution build-up of the in-scope services.
- Project manager of the solution optimization and new technology initiation, including budget plan, openbid, contract and vendor management.
- Manage service and solution related documents of the in-scope services, as well as the technical knowledge base.
- Being involved in the cross team/department/company collaboration and communication for related topics.
- Assure security compliance for the in-scope services through patch and release management, vulnerability finding fix, account and access control, anti-virus protection.
- Study, plan, implement and manage new service and technical solution according to company business requirement as well as Group and Regional Standards.
- Undertake other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.
Qualification and skills:
- Bachelor or higher degree of information technology or the other information science related subjects.
- IT Infrastructure operation and technical lead of the in-scope services.
- IT service management of the in-scope services.
- Have hands-on or design experience in some of the below IT Infrastructure technologies:
- Windows client and server, Active directory, Exchange, Microsoft endpoint management, Microsoft Office, O365, etc.
- IT common sense and basic understanding of Network, Storage, Hypervisor, Docker.
- Fluent working communication through English.
