Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility:
- A project manager holds an important role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects. Their main responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from planning and execution to risk and stakeholder management.
Key tasks:
- Project Planning: This involves defining the project scope, setting clear objectives, and creating a detailed project plan. It includes estimating timelines, allocating resources, and identifying risk
- Team Leadership and Management: This involves assembling and leading a diverse team of developers, testers, PO, and so on. PM manages team workloads, provide mentorship and collaborative environment
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: PM keeps all stakeholders informed about project progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Risk Management: Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks are essential tasks. PM creates risk management plans, monitor risk indicators, and minimize negative impacts.
- Change Management: PM evaluates change requests, negotiate with stakeholders, and update project plans accordingly.
- Reporting and Documentation: This involves regular reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, budget status, and risk assessments.
- Agile Management: Facilitates Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retro, daily stand-up to the scrum team. And cultivate an Agile culture in the team
Qualification and skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software project management.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- E2E experience of large-scale, multi-disciplinary software projects
- Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership skills to motivate, mentor, and guide diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communication: Superb verbal and written communication abilities to articulate project visions, statuses, and issues clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset to anticipate and resolve potential obstacles proactively.
- Agile: Rich agile delivery experience is MUST
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, and writing
