Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility:
- Heavy Duty PMs are responsible for strategic IT project management, the major responsibilities: overall planning of strategic projects including task breakdown, time scheduling to ensure that project goals are aligned with company strategy and objectives; project portfolio management, implementation steering, cross - departmental collaboration, regular management reporting etc.
Key tasks:
- In charge of the overall planning of heavy projects. Define project plans, including task breakdown, time scheduling, ensuring that project goals are aligned with company strategy and objectives.
- Lead and supervise the project team to implement the project strictly according to the plan. Promptly identify and resolve issues that arise during the implementation process.
- Maintain close communication with team and high-level managers; efficiently communicate and coordinate with internal departments, integrate various resources, solve cross - departmental problems.
- Establish a comprehensive project risk management system and process. Identify and evaluate all potential risks that the project may face at each stage.
- Develop targeted risk response strategies, monitor and give early warnings for risks in real - time, and take timely measures to reduce the impact of risks and ensure the achievement of project goals.
- Collect, organize, and analyze project - related data, including progress data, cost data, quality data, etc., to provide data support for project decision - making.
- Regularly report project status to senior management. Based on data analysis results, put forward reasonable suggestions and decision - making plans to assist management in making scientific decisions
Qualification and skills:
- A bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university, majoring in Information technology and project management related fields.
- More than 8 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years of project management experience.
- Have experience in successfully delivering multiple major projects.
- Be familiar with the production and manufacturing processes, technical standards, and quality requirements, and understand the industry development trends.
- Have a solid knowledge system of project management, be proficient in project management tools and methods. Those with certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
- Be proficient in using Office software and be an expert in project management software such as Project and Jira.
- Possess excellent leadership and team management abilities, and be able to effectively motivate and guide the team to achieve goals.
