Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• The Position Holder (PH) is in charge as the Service Operation Manager to provide following services to Region China by optimizing of solutions, guiding and delegating tasks to external teams, managing projects and evaluating deliveries, communicating with other VGC companies: event and media technologies such as telephone system, meeting room service and output management.

Key tasks:

• Assure availability and stability of the in-scope services, keep monitoring the technical service quality through task delegation and result review.
• Optimization and automation of the in-scope services, that covers the whole life cycle of the service to assure the service continuity.
• Manage incident, service request, change, release, problem of the in-scope services.
• Technical guidance, initiate and deploy new technical solution build-up of the in-scope services.
• Project manager of the solution optimization and new technology initiation, including budget plan, open-bid, contract and vendor management.
• Manage service and solution related documents of the in-scope services, as well as the technical knowledge base.
• Being involved in the cross team/department/company collaboration and communication for related topics.
• Assure security compliance for the in-scope services through patch and release management, vulnerability finding fix, account and access control, anti-virus protection.
• Study, plan, implement and manage new service and technical solution according to solution design.
• Undertake other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualification and skills:

• University degree in Computer Science or the similar major (BsC, MsC)
• At least 5 years’ experience with IT Project Management (PMP or equivalent)
• Experience in IT Services Management (ITIL)
• Experience with the Agile/Scrum framework
• General understanding in purchasing, controlling and finance processes.
• Familiar with the usage of standard project management tools (MS Project, MS Visio, Ticketing Systems, knowledge management, reporting and monitoring tools)
• Experience driving request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes and evaluate the technical proposals.
• Experience in IT Project Planning, Delivery and Optimization (incl. Budgeting)
• Experience in managing partners/vendors to deliver the requested projects, solutions and services.
• Fluent working communication through English.
