Data Engineer/BI

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• The Data Engineer is responsible for managing and analyzing data related to the logistics and quality business systems. This role focuses on collecting, processing, and visualizing data to drive informed decision - making for optimizing operations and enhancing product quality

Key tasks:

• Design/implement/optimize data structures, architecture, storage, analytics, and data exchange to enable data gathing, cleansing, processing and analysis from various sources for the domain's products
• Develop ETL pipelines to extract, transform, load data from systems, sensors, Apps; ensure quality real-time capabilities. Choose suitable databases-relationl collaborate with regional and group peers
• Utilize advanced data analysis tools/techniques (SQL, Python, R) to analyze large volumes of data. Extract valuable insights for Biz process performance, quality trends, operational inefficiencies.
• Develop predictive models/data driven recommendations to support decision making in areas like manufacturing efficiencies. Apply machine learning for optimization, new patterns, reduce cost.
• Create data visualizations with Tableau or PowerBI that are intuitive and visually appealing. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate complex analysis findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security in compliance with industry standards, company policies, Digital Strategy. Use methods/tools to identify and rectify inaccuracies, duplicates and inconsistent
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance domains digital transformation. Propose/implement changes to data collection, cleansing, processing, storage processes
• Run data related projects in scope, budget and time and collaborate with domain clients, POs, platform/data/AI teams to ensure process improvements, enhance overall data - driven decision - makin
• Act as PO of Data Exchange Tools and Interfaces for Domain and Info Asset Manager. Focus on Data/BI products, market tools, documentation to ensure stable operation and reduction of deployment risks.
• Timely complete other data and business intelligence related tasks assigned by the line manager / supervisor.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or other similar fields.
• 3+ years in data related - focused role. Experience in the automotive/production industry related data management, is a significant advantage.
• Proven Knowledge of SQL, Python and/or R, AI/ML frameworks and BI Tools, Data Governance Experience is preferred
• Familiar with ETL tools(e.g.,Informatica,SSIS)and data visualization tools(e.g.,Tableau,Power BI), 
• - Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
