UX/ UI Concept Designer











Brief description of the position:
The position will collaborate with product owners, engineers, and peers in data science and UX to shape the experience of new UX concepts. The role will help the team navigate through design challenges by propelling design excellence and being an advocate for the user. The position will build beautiful, easy-to-use, future-proof services and UX concepts that encompass strong design principle.
Key tasks:
1.Create UX/UI solutions for in-car infotainment, mobile apps, and web applications, ensuring seamless integration across platforms. This involves understanding user needs, designing intuitive interfaces, and collaborating with developers to implement these solutions effectively.
2.Design concepts, user journeys, screen flows, and visual designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. This includes mapping out user interactions, creating wireframes, and developing high-fidelity prototypes to visualize the user experience.
3.Conceptualize UI components for design systems, maintaining consistency and usability across different touchpoints. This task requires creating reusable components, defining design guidelines, and ensuring that all elements align with the overall brand identity.
4.Continuously analyze and optimize technical requirements and workflows to improve the overall user experience. This involves conducting usability tests, gathering user feedback, and iterating on designs to address pain points and enhance functionality.
5.Develop click-prototypes using tools like Figma, protopie or Unity to test and refine design ideas at an early stage. This includes creating interactive prototypes, conducting user testing sessions, and making data-driven design decisions based on feedback.
6.Support qualitative and quantitative research, including usability testing and simulation tests for developed prototypes. This task involves designing research studies, analyzing data, and presenting findings to inform design improvements and validate design decisions.
7.Collaborate with product owners, UX researchers, developers, and other stakeholders within our agile team to ensure cohesive design solutions. This requires effective communication, active participation in team meetings, and aligning design goals with business objectives.
8.Ensure high-quality standards for work in progress and final results, maintaining a strong emphasis on usability and user satisfaction. This includes conducting design reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the established quality criteria.
9.Communicate conceptual ideas clearly to development teams, ensuring smooth handover of design specifications. This involves creating detailed design documentation, presenting design concepts, and addressing any questions or concerns from the development team.
10.Stay updated with the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to create intuitive user interfaces. This task includes attending industry conferences, participating in workshops, and continuously learning to keep skills and knowledge current.
11. Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position
holder.
12. Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating
organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.
Qualification and skills:
1.Master or Bachelor in UX or UI Design.
2.Strong knowledge of UX concepts and UI design, ideally with intern experience in the automotive industry. High standards for work quality and results. Ability to work independently and self-organize, with experience in agile frameworks. Interest in UX/UI design, including tooling, UX patterns, styles, typography, colors, and branding. Proficiency in design tools like Figma. Experience in handing over concept specifications and designs to development teams. Excellent communication skills for conveying conceptual ideas.
