Key Tasks:
- Request quotations from suppliers during a sourcing process
- Do price comparisons and negotiations with suppliers
- Combine volumes of various car models to generate cost synergies
- Steer Purchasing activities in close cooperation with other departments
- Track both domestic, and foreign market trends and competitive conditions within the scope of technology, quality, capacity and economic rationality.
- Selection and supplier nomination in a transparent, fair and compliant manner
- Finish the Contract
- Present results / nomination recommendations in Sourcing Committee
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor
Qualification and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor degree or above in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Material, Engineering or Automotive Industry Related
- Deep knowledge of purchasing within vehicle industry (Automotive or others/similar). Working experience in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is a plus.
- Ability to handle the complexity of interfaces.
- Good strategic view and decision making.
- Proficient networking skills.
- Practical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and relationship skills in creating and fostering working relationships within Purchasing, internal business units and suppliers.
- Fluent Spoken and written in English. Fluent Spoken and written in German is a plus.
