(PS) Maintenance Engineer in Press Shop

Brief description of the position:

• We are looking for an AI-Integrated Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, particularly in a press shop environment, and a solid understanding of AI technologies. This role will focus on leveraging AI to the press shop production line to improve efficiency.

Key Tasks:

• Proficiently master the inspection and maintenance standards for automotive stamping equipment, and responsible for equipment inspection tours, spot checks, and periodic maintenance work.
• Conduct TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) standards and work instruction training for production operators, support the rectification of on-site TPM issues, and oversee the effectiveness of TPM implementations.
• Rapidly respond to production calls, responsible for emergency repairs of on-site equipment failures to ensure normal production.
• Record fault information, analyze the causes of equipment failures, and formulate corrective measures to prevent recurrence of failures.
• Organize the equipment spare parts inventory and declare spare parts needs, assisting the warehouse in confirming and storing the spare parts.
• Continuously carry out equipment improvement work and support the implementation of production and equipment improvement projects.
• Utilize AI algorithms to analyze equipment data, identify patterns, and predict potential failures or even safety issue before they occur.
• Integrate AI-based monitoring systems to continuously track equipment performance and provide real-time insights.
• Work closely with the production team to identify areas where AI can improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in AI/ML is a plus.
• Have working / internship experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a press shop;
• Proven experience with AI technologies, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in AI/ML tools and platforms (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.).
• Experience with IoT devices and data collection systems.
• Good command of office software such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Strong organization and coordination skills and communication skills.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and execution. listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English.
