eFunction Engineer - 7

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

•  eFunctions TESTER - Responsible for testing all e-functions/SW in the car, to ensure the electronic functionality of the car meet the required quality standards and customer expectations. Responsible for the definition & execution of customer test plans, Identify and diagnose issues in electrical systems, working closely with R&D teams to resolve them.

Key tasks:

• Conduct Comprehensive Functional Tests: perform a wide range of functional tests on whole vehicles to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. 
• Execute the test plans accurately and efficiently(function testing, performance testing, static / dynamic), ensuring that all test cases are covered and that the testing process is well - documented. 
• Timely deliver test results and ensure early detection of failures. Record traces and create tickets in error management system, collaborate with engineering teams to provide detailed reports and analysis of test results, facilitating the resolution of identified issues.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues. Prepare comprehensive test reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and conclusions.
• Optimize the test cases / test scenarios / test scripts regularly, support GQ function responsible to continuously improve test cases from customer point of view.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in automotive testing methodologies and technologies. Support continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures
• To establish and maintain digital quality requirement database, by lessons learned and customer behavior study. Proactively monitor in all project phases (Plan, Build, Run), that digital product and services fulfill the requested quality requirements.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other higher technical education. Preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, vehicle engineering, etc.
• Familiar with vehicle functions and function tests
• Familiar with vehicle diagnostic tools e.g. CANoe / ODIS
• Fluent in English, desired also German.
