(P1B) Bodyshop Field Engineer

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• Monitoring and steering the core technical KPIs e.g. OEE, JPH and VBZ etc.;
• Co-work with Foreman to formulate and implement the rules and regulations, support to decompose and concretize production targets issued by the factory for each line segment.
• Cowork with other department and solve the production related problem occurred in day to day management. 

Key tasks:

• Interpretation of factory strategic planning into short term objectives. Development of concrete annual work plan to achieve the target, including environment, safety, cost, quality, delivery and personal development. Ensure all plans are completed on time.
• Support to implement strictly the production process. Support the foreman to implement the production plan and complete the production target on time.
• Formulate the management rules and regulations of body shop. Understand and follow the modern management concept. Accept the self-transformation and self-development. Support to establish and continuously improve the construction of production system.
• Develop and optimize the methodology for the process management, product quality status control and other related works in the body shop.
• For series production: tracking the key quality status in the body shop, co-work with related departments (incl. Quality, Pilothall, Planning and internal customer) to deep dive the root reason for the quality issue, define solutions, tracking the status and verify the result.
• For series production: build up horizontal contact with other shops (Press, Painting and Assembly shop) to understand the requirements from internal and external customers. Investigate and develop reasonable solutions to fulfill the customer's needs based on the bodyshop's resources
• For pre-series production in new project stage: responsible for tracking the quality status of pre-series cars; tracking the status of facilities and equipments on the production line. Co-work with other departments, e.g. Planning, Pilothall, Maintenance etc… to ensure the timing of each milestone.
• Starting from pre-series production, co-work with Foreman and other department to collect rework status of body in white; develop and update the report on time; highlight the most critical quality issue and present to VWA Management.
• Starting from pre-series, conduct regular meeting with GQK (Buy part quality) to reflect the bodyshop complains and follow up the optimization timing plan. Be responsible to issue the claim in KPM system for any cost, waste, rework time, line stop time etc, to compensate the lost of Volkswagen Anhui. 
• Co-work with Bodyshop technical zone to implement variant production related KPIs (e.g. VBZ, Cost, KVP, training etc.) in production area.
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills:

• Master University, majored in: Mechanical engineering; Automotive engineering; Matel forming technology or Automatic technology, etc.
• Graduation from University in Germany as a plus
• Practice in Automobile industry or similar experience will be appreciated.
• Technical background in mechanical or automotive engineering;
• Logical and pro-active thinking;
• Strong communication skill and presentation skill;
• Strong willing to be succeed;
• Software knowledge for 2D and 3D drawing;
• Familiar of Microsoft working package;
• Proficient English both for writing and speaking;
• Germany speaking is a plus.
