Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility:
- This position supports the daily warranty business with focus on Warranty Standards & Processes following established standards and norms. It is an important part of Warranty Policies and Procedures functions.
Key tasks:
- Set up, review and after approval, update VWA Warranty Standards considering VWAG policies, VWA policies and local regulations for all levels including Warranty Handbook, Warranty Bulletin, etc.
- Set up, review and after approval, update VWA Warranty Processes for all levels including Process Standards, flowcharts, etc.
- Handle, review and advise risks about various local & foreign regulations, contracts, SLA, etc. with other parties.
- Review regularly warranty coverage/conditions and benchmark with competitors with justified proposals.
- Support daily communications with various parties considering Warranty policies, local regulations, customers’ right and importer/dealer/customers’ satisfaction.
- Support Warranty related services/systems like Service Process, Recall/Campaign, Quality Management, SAGA/2 and related files, BIFI, AQUA/SQA, GAP, DISS, ELSAPRO, HST2, WAPAS, etc.
- Support processing of all claims types in SAGA/2 as assigned.
- Support ad hoc activities as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
- Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations
upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.
Qualification and skills:
- Bachelor degree and above, Major in Automobile, Engineering, International Business or Legal preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant VW Group Systems including certification.
- External certification in Quality Systems, Auditing, Logistics, Data Analysis, etc..
- Have Initiative, Self-Motivated & taking ownership/responsibility of tasks given.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, time constraints & manage pressure/stress well
- Good Inter-Personal & Communication Skills (also culturally sensitive).
- Good thinking skills for strategy/problem solving (analytical, critical, creative, etc.).
