OEM Parts Release

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• Parts Release manages the release process of spare parts and ensures the compliance with all required VW systems, government laws and licensing regulations. Develops and implements systems and policies to administer the documentation process required to Parts Compliance.

Key tasks:

• Implement and manage a standard process and align with related counterparts. 
• Planning round / target agreement with K-AVO-Q.
• Ensure material compliance/IMDS of spare parts. Ensure chemical safety/labeling/dangerous goods compliance. 
• Ensure all the spare parts are BeON released according to PPF procedure, report spare part release KPIs and communicate the problems to the relevant parties. Aftersales release of sampling
• According to the national laws and VW Group standards, release the quality of after-sales parts to ensure their quality. 
• Ensure chemical safety/labeling/dangerous goods compliance. Ensure the country approval and Non-Type approval of spare parts. Quality monitoring for aftersales spare parts 
• Validation of spare parts to meet legal requirements, technical and functional requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers for parts release requirements. Supplier escalation. Parts block and unblock. Technical problem solving related to Systems and content. Regulate the expiry date process for existing and new parts.
• Maintain sound and efficient communication channels with all relevant departments and regions. Knowing and continuous screening of legal regulations concerning lawful documentation in the market.
• Ensure the country approval and Non-Type approval of spare parts. Certification for EOP parts
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations

upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills:

•  University bachelor degree or above in the field of mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
•  Experience in project management methods and technics in all project phases;
• Skills in analytical thinking, strategy and planning;
• Experience working in an international working environment and in cross-functional project teams;
• Very good communication skills (target group oriented and culturally sensitive);
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment (deal with uncertainties and master high pressure);
• Fluent in Chinese and English, German would be beneficial; Committed to maintain quality and efficiency;
