Intelligent & Smart Repair Concept Development

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• The technical solution with intelligent & smart repair, to reduce the warranty cost and customer repair cost and increase the customer satisfaction. Close coordination with related departments to investigate the feasibility of intelligent & smart repair concept. 

Key tasks:

• Monitor all the repair cases in the market, evaluate the repair cost of each repair concept, incl. hardware change and repair process. 
• New intelligent & smart repair concept development based on the current market situation, damage cases, warranty cost and technical status. 
• Coordinate all the relevant BU or department to investigate the feasibility of intelligent & smart repair concept.
• Validate the feasibility of new developed intelligent & smart repair concept, incl. economic evaluation, technical feasibility, dealer performability, etc.
• Organize the repair test of the intelligent & smart repair concept in the internal workshop and dealer workshop, and follow-up the result of the test.
• Coordinate the new spare part technical release for intelligent & smart repair concept, and ensure the part availability in dealership.
• Prepare the TPI to release the intelligent & smart repair concept to dealer.
• Evaluate the warranty cost influence before and after the intelligent & smart repair concept implementation.
• egularly organize the workshop about intelligent & smart repair, summarize the performance of released repair concept and collect new repair concept demand. 
• Complete other tasks which is from team leader
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations

upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills:

•  University Bachelor degree or above Major: Automotive or Mechanics or relevant majors
• Experience in project management methods and technics in all project phases;
•  Skills in analytical thinking, strategy and planning,
• Experience working in an international working environment and in cross-functional project teams;
• Very good communication skills (target group oriented and culturally sensitive);
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment (deal with uncertainties and master high pressure);
• Fluent in Chinese and English, German would be beneficial
