Thank you for the letter of October 12, offering us woolen carpet.
However, we very much regret to state that we find the price is too high.
Infromation indicates that the same carpet made in China sold at much lower price. So if you should reduce your price by 3%, we might come to terms.
Considering our long-standing business relationship, we make you such a counter-offer.
Hope you take our suggestion into consideration and give us your reply as soon as possible.
